Falls from heights less than 10 feed are always harmless

Fall protection is something that keeps you from falling from a certain height

On guardrail systems the mid-rail should be placed 18inches from the floor

Guardrails should be able to withstand forces of up to 200 pounds applied in any direction.

Safety net openings should be no more than 12 inches across.

Body harnesses and body bells are considered personal fall arrest devices.

It is important to inspect your fall protection equipment before beginning work.

Lanyards are shock absorbing devices designed to be reused each time you fall

Lanyards may be used as a rope to lift equipment as long as its capacity is not exceeded.

OSHA requires fall protection for construction employees at heights above 6 feet.
